Release Notes for Cisco MeetingPlace IP Gateway Release 5.2

  Introduction
Introduction
Cisco MeetingPlace IP Gateway  handles the call-control functions for an IP implementation. Moreover, 
Cisco MeetingPlace IP Gateway  now supports both H.323 and SIP protocols and can handle up to 960 
IP connections. 
Requirements
The following sections detail the requirements to install and configure Cisco MeetingPlace IP Gateway 
Release 5.2.
Hardware Requirements
Windows server with the following minimum requirements on which to install Cisco MeetingPlace IP 
Gateway Release 5.2: 
1 GHz Pentium III 
512 MB RAM, 4 GB disk space
Network interface card
CD-ROM drive
Software Requirements
The minimum system requirements to deploy Cisco MeetingPlace IP Gateway Release 5.2 are as 
follows: 
Cisco MeetingPlace 8100 Series Server with Cisco MeetingPlace Audio Server Release 5.2 
Cisco MeetingPlace Gateway System Information Manager (GWSIM) Release 5.2

Windows 2000 or Advanced Server edition with Service Pack 4 or a later release and all 
corresponding Microsoft security patches installed 
Microsoft Windows Networking Support 
One of the following: 
Cisco CallManager version 3.22 or a later release
Note
Note: Cisco CallManager 3.0.x supports up to 250 IP connections. You must upgrade to 
version 3.22 or a later release for the full complement of 960 IP connections.
Cisco SIP Proxy Server 1.0 or a later release
