About the MeetingPlace Home Page
After entering the MeetingPlace Web URL in the address field of
your Web browser, users will see the MeetingPlace home page
with the following options:
Attend Meeting: Enables users to quickly join a specific
meeting after entering its meeting ID. Clicking the Attend
Meeting tab automatically brings you to the Attend Meeting
page where you can sign in as a profile user or as a guest.
Schedule Meeting: Allows you to specify meeting
parameters from the New Meeting page and then schedule an
immediate meeting or a future meeting.
Find Meeting: Brings you to the Today’s Meetings page
where you can search for past, future, or current meetings.
Immediate Meeting: Allows you to schedule and attend an
immediate meeting. The meeting is automatically scheduled
using system default scheduling parameters; you will not be
able to specify your own meeting parameters using this
scheduling method.
Signing In as a Profile User
MeetingPlace users should sign in to MeetingPlace Web using
their profiles. Signing in enables you to utilize the enhanced
features of MeetingPlace Web. Sign in capabilities are offered
through the Attend Meeting, Schedule Meeting, Find Meeting,
and Immediate Meeting tabs, in addition to the Sign In link.
Note: Guest users who have not logged into the system using a
MeetingPlace profile are provided with a restricted set of web
pages that allow them to attend but not schedule meetings.
