You can also install both the internal MeetingPlace Web and 
DMZ MeetingPlace Web on the same Windows server by 
choosing the setup type option of “both” during installation. This 
type of deployment compromises security and is not 
recommended.

During installation, a pop-up box will inform you that you need 
to create two web sites on your Windows machine. The 
installation program will install all the necessary files for an 
internal web site and an external web site on the same Windows 
server, and will automatically configure the default web site in 
IIS to be the internal web site. 

However, you will need to create and configure a second web site 
in IIS to represent the external web site.  

To set up an external web site, open IIS and create a new web site 
and name it DMZ to represent the external web site to be used 
solely by Internet users.

1.  From Internet Services Manager (IIS), right-click on your 

web server and select new | website. 

2.  At the Web Site Description screen, enter a description for 

your web site and click Next.
