Chapter 9  Using MeetingPlace Web in Japanese 
Table 9-1   Japanese System Requirements
About the MeetingPlace Home Page
After logging into MeetingPlace, profile users will see the 
Welcome to MeetingPlace home page with their profile name 
displayed at the top of the page. From the MeetingPlace home 
page users can access the following functions:
Attend Meeting 
: Enables users to quickly join 
a specific meeting after entering its meeting ID. Clicking the 
Attend Meeting 
tab automatically brings you to 
the Attend Meeting page where you can sign in as a profile 
user or as a guest.
Schedule Meeting
: Allows you to specify 
meeting parameters from the New Meeting page and then 
schedule an immediate meeting or a future meeting.
Find Meeting 
: Brings you to the Today’s 
Meetings page where you can search for past, future, or 
current meetings.
Immediate Meeting 
: Allows you to schedule and 
attend an immediate meeting. The meeting is automatically 
scheduled using system default scheduling parameters; you

To enable users to schedule meetings using the MeetingPlace 
Web interface in Japanese, make sure the following is installed 
and running:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.72, 5.0, or 5.5 (SP 2) with the 
browser set to view Japanese (From the View menu, select 
Encoding | Japanese)
Note: Japanese Netscape Navigator is not supported.
Note: Polling, Slide Show, and Meeting Room features are not 
supported via the MeetingPlace Web interface in Japanese.
