MeetingPlace Web Audio Service
MeetingPlace Web allows users to listen to voice recordings in
one of many popular formats. These formats include RealAudio,
Windows Media, MP3, and WAV files.
To listen to voice recordings, users must have one of the
corresponding audio services listed in Table 4-2 installed on their
systems.
MeetingPlace Web ships with RealAudio Encoder 3.0 and the
WAV file Encoder, which allows you to convert MeetingPlace
recordings into RealAudio (.ra) and WAV files. All other audio
services listed in Table 4-2 are not included with MeetingPlace
Web. Additionally, supported services and end user applications
must be installed and configured. Refer to Appendix D fo
configuration instructions.
Table 4-2 lists the audio file formats supported by MeetingPlace
Web, as well as the encoder used to convert the format, the player,
and media server responsible for each format.
