Introduction
Welcome to MeetingPlace—Work Better Here. MeetingPlace 
allows users in different locations to collaborate in real time 
through live voice communication and by sharing documents and 
applications over their PCs. 
Since MeetingPlace integrates with common interfaces, such as 
groupware clients, Web browsers, and standard and IP-based 
telephones, users can quickly schedule and attend web 
conferences through their preferred interface from any location.
MeetingPlace Web 3.0 provides real-time collaboration 
functionality to an organization’s intranet/extranet. MeetingPlace 
Web 3.0 integrates MeetingPlace with a Web server to provide 
your users with a browser-based interface to MeetingPlace. The 
software enables Windows, Macintosh and UNIX users to 
schedule and attend web conferences and access meeting material 
from common Web browsers, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 
and Netscape Navigator.
Who Should Use This Guide
This guide is designed for the MeetingPlace Web 3.0 System 
Manager. This guide assumes that you have some familiarity with 
MeetingPlace, networking concepts, and Windows-based Web 
servers.
MeetingPlace Web 3.0 System Manager Functions 
It is the responsibility of the MeetingPlace Web System Manager 
to set up and maintain MeetingPlace Web 3.0. 
As the MeetingPlace Web System Manager, once MeetingPlace 
Web has been installed and configured, you will be responsible 
for the following functions:
Installing and configuring third-party applications that are not 
currently available to MeetingPlace Web (e.g., Microsoft 
Internet Information Service (IIS) and audio conversion tools
