Chapter 5  Installing MeetingPlace Web 81

To help ensure the MeetingPlace Web server is functioning 
properly, a test page has been provided that determines if 
MeetingPlace WebShare can establish a direct and tunneled 
connection to the MeetingPlace Web server.

To test these connections:

1.  From a user’s system, open their Web browser and enter the 

MeetingPlace Web URL in the address field. Press the Enter 
key.

2.  From the MeetingPlace Web home page, click the Sign In 

link. 

3.  Enter your MeetingPlace user ID and password in the fields 

provided and click the Sign In button. Note that you must 
have System Manager’s privileges to access the test page.

4.  Click the Admin link in the upper right-hand of the page. The 

MeetingPlace Web Administration page displays.

5.  Click the link to access the Data Conferencing Server 

Administration.
