Managing
MeetingPlace Web
This chapter describes the administrative and management
functions of the MeetingPlace Web system manager. The topics
covered in this chapter include the following:
Managing resources
Configuring the MeetingPlace Web services
Monitoring MeetingPlace Web activities
Network impact of MeetingPlace Web
Displaying flex fields
Creating a MeetingPlace Authentication Filter in IIS
Managing Resources
MeetingPlace Web is designed to manage itself automatically.
The program requires minimal administration on a periodic basis,
such as modifying polling and purging schedules.
It is important to consider the impact that MeetingPlace Web may
potentially have on hardware, software, and other resources.
Data Storage
Storage space on the MeetingPlace Web server is required for
both the voice recordings and data attachments associated with
meetings, referred to collectively as MeetingNotes. It is important
to plan for the demand that this kind of storage will require of
your system (disk space).
Note: Your Latitude Technical Consultant can help you plan this
configuration with assistance from the Customization Services
group.
