Cisco Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Office Communicator

Removed logging for all unsupported Cisco Unified MeetingPlace events that do not pertain to the Cisco 
Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Office Communicator. The extra logging might flood the Event 
Viewer.

The Cisco Security Agent for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace is now supported on the Cisco Unified 
MeetingPlace for Microsoft Office Communicator server. The Cisco Security Agent requires that ports 
5060 to 5069 be open so that the LCS Gateway can listen for incoming meeting requests.

In this release, the installation and upgrade processes have a new step, where you are prompted to install 
the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable, which the system needs to start the LCS Gateway. If you 
do not install it during the installation or upgrade process, you will later have to download and install it 
from the Microsoft web site. See the

Known problems (bugs) are graded according to severity level. These release notes contain descriptions 
of the following:

All severity level 1 or 2 bugs.

Significant severity level 3 bugs.
