Version. The version number of the MeetingPlace Agent service.

Local Machine Known As. The options in this section determine 
how connections to the MeetingPlace Agent service are 
maintained. 

After a connection to the MeetingPlace Agent service is 
established, any URLs returned that refer to the Windows server 
will have the hostname set according to IP address, hostname, or 
fixed value.

In some situations, you may not want an IP address to maintain 
the MeetingPlace Agent service connection. These situations 
include:

If your company has a policy forbidding the use of IP 

addressing for identification

If you are using SSL (secure socket layer)

If you are using virtual servers

If any of these situations apply, you can use the three option 
buttons in this section to control how the MeetingPlace Agent 
service connection is maintained. These option buttons are 
explained below:

IP Address. This is the default setting. The IP address 
replaces the hostname once connection to the MeetingPlace 
Agent service has been established. 

Host Name. This setting forces the MeetingPlace Agent 
service to continue using the hostname to maintain 
connections.

Fixed. This setting forces the MeetingPlace Agent service to 

use whatever text you require to identify your Web server. 

Use Web Server Authentication. This box must be checked if 
Domino authentication is being used. For more information about 
Domino authentication, refer to Chapter 3.
