Introduction
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Audio Server is the software that runs the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace
system. The software is installed on either a Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8106 or a Cisco Unified
MeetingPlace 8112 hardware server. Additional software components—such as Cisco Unified
MeetingPlace Web Conferencing and Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook—are installed
on a Cisco Media Convergence Server (MCS).
