  Features From Previous Releases
The following sections describe:
Calling Station ID in MIP RRQ
The calling station ID as the normal vendor specific extension (NVSE) is the carrier in MIP Registration
Request (RRQ) between the FA and HA.
The configuration for the calling station ID:
router(config)# cdma pdsn attribute vendor 20942 send a1 mip_rrq
Correlation ID in MIP RRQ
The correlation ID as NVSE is the carrier in the MIP RRQ between the FA and HA. The correlation ID
from PDSN is sent in the MIP RRQ to the HA. This ID is sent in all HA-generated accounting records.
The configuration for the correlation ID:
router(config)# cdma pdsn attribute vendor 20942 send c2 mip_rrq
Base Station ID in MIP RRQ
The Base Station ID value is received from the PCF as D4 attribute in the airlink connection setup. The
value received is sent in the MIP RRQ along with the CT vendor ID 20942.
When this feature is enabled, the BSID value received is sent across the MIP RRQ along with the CT
vendor ID 20942, vendor type 3.
During MIP re-registration, the BSID value received in the last A11 airlink connection setup record is
sent in the MIP RRQ. During the handoff from one PCF to another PCF, when there is a change in this
parameter, it will not trigger a MIP RRQ to update HA. Instead, the new value received is sent in the
next MIP RRQ (Re-registration) only.
When this feature is enabled and the value is not received from the PCF, the attribute is sent without any
BSID value.
The configuration for sending Base Station ID in MIP RRQ:
router(config)# cdma pdsn attribute vendor 20942 send d4 mip_rrq
Service Option in MIP RRQ
The Service Option value is received from the MN as F5 attribute in the airlink start. The value received
is sent in the MIP RRQ along with the CT vendor ID 20942.
