Packing Instructions for the Cisco CDE 100/200/300/400

Packing the CDE200
Follow these steps t to pack the CDE200 for shipping:
Step 1
Place half slotted container 5 into corrugated tray 2.
Step 2
Secure the corrugated tray 2 to the pallet 1 using metal staples.
Step 3
Tear out all removable piece of 3 (both top and bottom caps).
Step 4
Insert the bottom piece of 3 into the tray 2.
Step 5
Place carton 4 into bottom foam cap 3.
Step 6
Place top foam piece 3 over the top of 4.
Step 7
Seal cartons 4 and 5 using an appropriate amount of 3M373 3.00” wide pressure-sensitive plastic carton 
sealing tape (with Cisco logo).
Step 8
Apply tilt indicator labels/devices 6 to the exterior of 5 per 95-6263-XX.
Step 9
Secure the packaging unit to pallet 1 using poly-banding and edge protectors as illustrated.
Step 10
Prepare for shipment.
Packing the CDE300 and CDE400
Follow these steps to pack the CDE300 and CDE400 for shipping:
Step 1
Place half slotted container 5 into corrugated tray 2.
Step 2
Secure the corrugated tray 2 to the pallet 1 using metal staples.
Step 3
Tear out the inner-most removable piece located on the width of 3 (both top and bottom caps).
Step 4
Insert the bottom piece of 3 into the tray 2.
Step 5
Place carton 4 into bottom foam cap 3.
Step 6
Place foam piece 3 over the top of 4.
Step 7
Seal cartons 4 and 5 using an appropriate amount of 3M373 3.00” wide pressure-sensitive plastic carton 
sealing tape (with Cisco logo).
Step 8
Apply tilt indicator labels/devices 6 to the exterior of 5 per 95-6263-XX.
Step 9
Secure the packaging unit to pallet 1 using poly-banding and edge protectors as illustrated.
Step 10
Prepare for shipment.
