Cisco recommends  that the customer should upgrade  the CDS Devices  in the following  order: 
 

•  Bring the server  offline 

•  Shutdown  the server 

•  Remove  power and cables 
•  Remove  the 9261-8i MegaRAID adapter  from the server 

•  Remove  the BBU from the 9261-8i adapter 

•  Replace  the BBU on the 9261-8i adapter 
•  Replace  the 9261-8i  adapter  in the server 

•  Replace  cables and power 

•  Reboot  the server 

 

Upgrade  Times for each device:  ~30 minutes. 

•  Verify that have received  the correct BBU (Cisco Part Number:  CDE3-HBA-G2MR-BBU=) 

Model: BAT1S1P.
