  4.  Click File and then select New. 

Result:  The Set Up BFS Source window opens. 



  5.  Follow these instructions to configure the Set Up BFS Source window. 

a)  In the Source Name field, type ASI_BFS. 
b)  In the Source ID field, type a unique number greater than 201. 
c)  In the Source Type field, select BFS. 
d)  In the Transport Type field, select ASI In-band. 
e)  In the Data Rate field, type 1.0. 
f)  In the Block Size field, type 4000. 
g)  In the Indication Interval field, type 100. 
h)  Select enable. 
i)  In the Available Hosts field, highlight the hostname of the DNCS and 

then click Add. 
Result:  The hostname of the DNCS moves to the Selected Hosts 

column. 

j)  Click Save. 

Result:  The system saves the BFS source configuration. 


