Power connector

Before removing the power connector cable, remove the following components:

Battery (see 

)

Service access cover (see 

Hard drive (see 

)

Optical drive (see 

Keyboard (see 

)

Top cover (see 

Remove the power connector:

Position the computer right-side up.

Disconnect the power connector cable (1) from the system board.

Lift the power connector (2) away from the clips built into the base enclosure.

Reverse this procedure to install the power connector.
