4.  Remove the fluid inlet fitting and

clean thoroughly.

5.  Remove the fluid body retaining

nuts and lock washers. Remove
the fluid body by pulling it straight
off the auger. Clean thoroughly.

6.  Loosen auger set-screw and

remove auger and seal assembly.
Clean auger carefully and replace
the seal (#79011). Ensure that the
open end of the seal faces the
outlet end of the valve.

7.  Inspect the auger and fluid body

for damage or wear. If necessary,
replace the worn components.

8.  Reassemble in reverse order.

The drive motor, motor chamber, cable
and strain relief are supplied as an
assembly. In the event of a drive motor
failure, replacement of drive motor
assembly is recommended (valve model
790, #79018; valve model 792, #79020).

9.  Disconnect the power cable from

the controller.

10.  Remove the fluid body and auger.

11.  Attach the auger and fluid body to

the replacement drive motor
assembly.

12.  Connect the power cable to con-

nector pins 7 & 8.
