3. System Operation
3.1. Standby Status

Activity Timer Indicator (ring around the EMERGENCY button) may be either ON or OFF
3.2. Emergency
Press the EMERGENCY button and hold for a short duration or press the Emergency
Button on either the portable or fixed device.

A siren sounds until the Reset button is pressed, which generates and transmits a
Monitoring Station event report, or the siren times out.

3.3. Activity Timer

The Activity Timer feature may be disabled locally or by the Monitoring
Station. When this feature is disabled, the user cannot use it.
Enable/Disable the Activity Timer by pressing the Reset button for five seconds.
When enabled, the Activity Timer Indicator (the ring around the EMERGENCY button)
lights blue. If disabled, the indicator remains OFF.

The Activity Timer can be set for two sessions per day, either locally or
remotely by the Monitoring Station.
The Activity Timer Indicator blinks and sounds a short beep every ten seconds, 15
minutes before the timer runs out.
