The large arrow field is a schematic depiction of the next intersection
where you must turn. The distance remaining to this junction is
indicated underneath.
As you get closer to the junction you will see a spot diagram in addition
to the distance:

The nearer you get to the junction, the more yellow spots are displayed.
If you don't have to change direction for a long time, you will see only a
straight arrow. The distance you must continue straight on is indicated
underneath the arrow.
►
Tap on the large arrow box to hear current route instructions.
6 The
Traffic Information field displays if a reported obstruction
concerns your route.
If the Traffic Information field indicates a distance, the system has not
calculated a detour route around the respective obstruction.
►
Tap on the Traffic Information field to see the full message. You
may then decide whether you want to detour the obstruction
(Detour) or not (Ignore).
If no distance is shown, the system detours all reported obstructions
concerning your route and implying time loss.
►
Tap on Traffic Information to display a list with all obstructions
reported for your route. (Refer to "TMC (Traffic Information)" on
page 49)

Note: Calculating detours around reported obstructions can be done
automatically. (Refer to "TMC Settings" on page 50)

The height above sea level and the current speed is shown here.
Ahead of many junctions the information from  6,  7 and  8 is hidden.
Instead you are shown which lanes lead to your destination.
►
Tap the field to hide lane information.
The remaining distance to the destination, the estimated duration of the
trip, and the estimated time of arrival can be seen in the Total field.
►
Tap on the ETA if you want the estimated duration of travel to be
displayed instead.
►
Tap again on the info box if you want the ETA to be displayed
again.
