Location: Place H168M with its base on top of flat supports (e.g. office desk). To achieve the best

effect, try to put H168M to a place with little interference during communication with wireless ter-

minals (e.g. laptops with wireless network cards). To ensure the quality of WLAN, it is suggested

to use wireless terminals in or close to the room where H168M is placed.

Hardware connection: H168M is connected to the carrier's network through the DSL uplink mode.

The hardware connection is as shown in the following figure.

A voice filter must be installed close to the phone if it is necessary to install a phone in front of the

splitter.

To ensure normal Internet access of the device, users must set the host address and the H168M

address in the same sub network segment.

H168MThe default network setting is as follows:

IP address is 192.168.200.1

Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0

�

Default gateway is 192.168.200.1
