The Connections tab (see 

) contains a Network Cards icon 

 that displays the network cards 

installed in the terminal.

1. Tap Start > Settings > Connections > Network Cards

2. Tap on an adapter in the list to review its settings. (Server-assigned IP addresses use DHCP.) 

3. If you make a change on one of these tabs, tap OK to confirm the changes. The following message appears:

4. You must perform a soft reset to update the registry; see 

. During the soft reset, the 

new registry entries are created and can be read by the applications that need them.

Do NOT perform a 

 (see page 3-13) after modifying an adapter here. Hard resets return the terminal
