ATTERIES
Both the TU and RU shall use standard ‘AAA’ batteries (MN2400 or equivalent). The battery compartments
shall be accessible through a battery door with a Philips-head locking screw. There shall be adequate markings
on the case and/or PC board to denote the polarity of each battery, as shown in Figure 6.

The External Probe shall not require battery power, but shall obtain power through its cable.

Both the TU and RU shall use a low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator to provide 2.5V for the system.
