Note: The LPM is either RS-232 or RS-422. The loop-back test will only work if the appropriate loop-back
connector is used.
2. Connect the appropriate loop-back connector to the COM port. In the RS-232 loop-back connector, the Tx and
Rx signals are connected. In the RS-422 loop-back connector, the Tx+ and Rx+ signals are connected and
the Tx- and Rx- signals are connected. The LPM RS-232 pin outs are shown on page 260; the LPM RS-422
pin outs are shown on page 261.
3. Select the
Diagnostics link on the left side panel of the CTM web interface.
Result: The following screen appears.
4. Select the Serial port loop-back test link.
Result: The following screen appears.
