• Channels
For programmed scan:
Program scan edge frequencies into scan edge mem-
ory channels P1 and P2. (p. 66)

For memory scan:
Program two or more memory channels except scan 
edge memory channels.

• Scan resume ON/OFF
You can select the scan to resume or cancel when 
detecting a signal in the set mode.
Scan resume ON/OFF must be set before operating a 
scan. See p. 78 for ON/OFF setting and scan resume 
condition details.

• Scan speed
Scan speed can be selected from 2 levels, high or 
low, in the set mode. See p. 78 for details.

Scan stops when a signal is detected.
If you set scan resume ON in the set mode, 
the scan pauses for 10 sec. when detect-
ing a signal, then resumes. When a signal 
disappears while scan is paused, scan 
resumes 2 sec. later.

(scan edge memory channels P1 and P2).

This scan operates in VFO mode.
