the seal.

BP-292UL battery pack.

This equipment is suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, 
Groups A, B, C, and D or non-hazardous locations only.
When the transceiver is used in a hazardous area, the 
BP-292UL MUST be attached, either the jack cover or 
HM-184UL MUST be attached to the speaker-microphone 
connector.

For the battery pack
WARNING! NEVER charge the BP-292UL (with/without 
the transceiver) in an explosive atmosphere.
WARNING! Batteries must only be changed or charged 
in an area known to be non-hazardous.
CAUTION: The battery may present a risk of fire or 
chemical burn if mistreated. Do not disassemble, heat above 
+60°C (+140°F), or incinerate. Replace battery with the Li-
ion battery pack Model Number BP-292UL manufactured by 
Icom Inc. only. Use of another battery may present a risk of 
fire or explosion.
CAUTION: Risk of fire and burns. Do not open, crush, heat 
above +60°C (+140°F) or incinerate. Follow manufacturer’s 
instructions.
Dispose of used battery promptly. Keep away from children.
Do not disassemble and do not dispose of in fire.
Replace Li-ion battery pack Model Number BP-292UL 
manufactured by Icom Inc. only. Use of another battery may 
present a risk of fire or explosion.
CAUTION: DO NOT change batteries or accessories in a 
hazardous area.
