For the operation within the GPRS network 
an APN (Access Point Name) must be se-
lected. 

 

We prepared numerous European APNs for 
selection in the HSComm. 

 

According to the APN, PPP authentication 
may be required. The necessary information 
can be obtained from the customer service 
center of your provider. 
 

 

On the basis of the entered APNs you can determine if a user name or a password is re-
quired.

PAP authentication, user name or password is 
required as stated.

No authentication, user name or password is required.

PAP authentication, any user name or any password is required.
