6.4.5 SMS storage locations
The automatic processing of an incoming SMS takes place via an in-
dependent, module-internal interface and has usually no effect on the
communication between the application and the GSM/GPRS engine.
Only when the SMS memory is accessed (especially reading and delet-
ing), it can happen that the µcontroller accesses the SMS storage
location at the same time. In this case, the application would receive
ERROR as response. The application should therefore execute the
command once more, if necessary.
The INSYS GPRS 5.0 serial evaluates all SMS storage locations made
available by the GSM/GPRS engine (storage locations of the SIM card
and storage locations in the engine itself).
