In contrast to the control lever for the rudder and elevator function, for which the lever is kept in the centre 

position by spring force, the control lever for the motor function will always stop in the last position set. 

 

Therefore, the control lever for the motor function must be put in the centre position before the mode switch 

is operated (figure 1, item 3). To prevent the drive motors of the model from starting up unintended, neither 

the transmitter nor the model must be in operation during mode switching. 

 

Only operate the transmitter with batteries with a voltage of 1.5 V/cell. Rechargeable batteries (NiCd/NiMH) 

only have a voltage of 1.2 V/cell and therefore are not suitable for power supply to the transmitter or the 

charge function that is integrated in the transmitter. 

 

The flight battery would not be charged sufficiently here, which would lead to short flight times only.

Proceed as follows to insert the batteries:
The  battery  compartment  lid  (1)  is  located  on  the  back  of  the 

transmitter. Push the locking lever (2) at the upper edge of the 

battery compartment lid slightly down and lift off the lid. 
Now put four batteries in the battery compartment. Be sure to 

observe the correct polarity of the individual cells (note plus/+ and 

minus/-). A corresponding note (3) is located on the bottom of the 

battery compartment. 
Then place the battery compartment lid with the bottom edge first 

into the transmitter housing and let the latching lever latch proper-

ly when pushing on.
