Recordings cannot be saved
•  Insert a SD/SDHC memory card (SD memory card max. 2GByte, SDHC memory card max. 32GByte).
•  Check the writing protection slider of the SD/SDHC memory card.
In some cheap memory cards, it may move so easily or be so large that it may be operated by accident
when inserting the memory card into the screen/DVR slot.
•  Is the memory card full? Insert a new, empty memory card or move the memory card contents onto the
computer‘s hard disc.
•  If required, activate automatic overwriting of the memory card, see chapter 11 d), function „SD Overwri-
te“. The oldest recordings are overwritten with the respective current recording here and will be lost.
•  Format the SD/SDHC memory card with the corresponding function of the screen/DVR, see chapter 11 e),
function „SD format“.
The screen/DVR can only handle the file format FAT or FAT32, but not, e.g., NTFS.
IR remote control does not work
•  Remove the small transparent protective stripe from the battery compartment at initial commissioning;
pull it out completely.
•  Replace the battery; observe correct polarity when inserting; see chapter 9 a).
•  Align the small, transparent LED with the front of the IR remote control on the sensor at the front of the
screen/DVR. The range usually is several meters.
No audio signal from the microphone of the radio camera
•  Align the microphone in the housing (19) in the radio camera‘s cable differently. Fasten the housing (19),
e.g., with cable ties.
•  Increase the volume at the screen/DVR.
•  Check the volume settings in the OSD menu, see chapter 11 c), function „Volume“.
Whistling sound during audio playback
•  This is feedback between the microphone in the radio camera and the speaker in the screen/DVR.
Increase the distance between the radio camera and screen/DVR, align the microphone differently, re-
duce the volume at the screen/DVR or the OSD menu.
Bad image quality of the recording
•  Replace the resolution „QVGA“ (= 320 x 240 pixels) with „VGA“ (640 x 480 pixels), see chapter 11 c),
Function „Quality“.
