This Bulletin covers trailers (triples, doubles, B-Trains, or full trailers) with MULTIPLE Bendix TABS-6 Standard
(or Premium) modules where the Bendix TABS-6 module receives data over the PLC (Power Line Carrier). The
DTCs are incorrectly set when a Bendix TABS-6 module receives a message via the J2497 communication link
from a second Bendix TABS-6 module which it misinterprets as a message from the tractor indicating that the
vehicle is moving, while its own sensors do not show any wheels as turning.
For technicians who are diagnosing systems using blink codes:
(a) in the case of a 2S/1M (two sensor, one modulator) configuration, the DTCs stored correspond to BOTH

Note: Particular care should be taken to ensure that the TRDU remains connected until the LED
sequence indicating a successful configuration is displayed. Refer to the instruction sheet that
comes with the special TRDU for more details. Failure to complete the configuration can result in
an ECU 6 (Configuration) DTC. Should this occur, re-apply the special TRDU.
