CHAPTER 8: REMOTE ACCESS
Make sure that the DVR is properly connected to the router/modem and
that you have a computer that works with Windows and connected to
the same router.

Follow these steps to determine the basic information about your network:
1. Press the
Windows and R key at the same time on your computer’s
keyboard to bring up the Run window. Type “
cmd” and press the Enter

2. In the command prompt window, type “ipconfig” and press
Enter. Find
the section named “Ethernet adapter Ethernet” or “Wireless LAN adapter
Wi-Fi” and locate the “IPv4 Address” and write this address down e.g.
192.168.1.123.

3. Change the last three digits of the address to 150 and write this
address down as well e.g. 192.168.1.150. This will become the IP
address of your DVR at a later time.
