Registering  the  supplied  preset  codes  in  the  remote  control  unit 
enables you to operate devices made by other manufacturers.

(vpage 22).

The  operation  mode  of  the  remote 
control unit is switched as shown in the 
table. 

Press  the  input  source  select  buttons  once 
to switch the operation mode of the remote 
control unit supplied with this unit.
Press  the  input  source  select  buttons  twice 
consecutively  to  switch  the  operation  mode 
of  the  remote  control  unit  and  input  source 
of this unit.

 If a preset code is registered for this button, the remote control 

unit of this unit can control another devices. 

If  the  mode  of  the  remote  control  unit  is  set  to  other  than  amp-
operation mode, press 

 to switch the remote control unit to the 

amp-operation mode to perform the following operations:
• For menu operation by pressing 

• For setting the channel level of the unit by pressing 

• For performing direct playback
• For  switching  the  MultEQ,  Dynamic  EQ,  and  Dynamic  Volume 

settings.

• For using the Video Select function.
• For using the sleep timer function.
• For displaying the Source Select screen.
• For switching the M-DAX function.
• For  directly  selecting  “AUTO”  and  “STEREO”  of  the  listening 

modes.

• For details, refer to the operating instructions for each device.
