Servicing should only be performed by a Qualifi ed Service Agent

Calling for heat

Normal status.  No action required.

The ECO (Energy Cut-Off) has 
opened.

• Check for excessively hot water 

(203° F or higher).

• Correct the problem

No power 

Check the breaker.

Tank is at a set temperature ± 
2° F.

No action required.

Tank has cooled 
below 120° F.  
Preceded by “ECO Open” 
indication.  

• Push the manual reset button.  

Refer to Figure 17.

• Troubleshoot for the reason that the ECO      
 opened.
