 FRU information (service only)

To remove the CD-ROM drive, do the following:

1.

Power-off the server, if it is on.

2.

Unplug the server.

3.

Remove the cover (see “Removing the side cover” on page 59).

4.

Disconnect the cables.

5.

Remove the screws from the CD-ROM drive cage.

6.

Gently slide the floppy disk drive toward the rear of the server and lift it out.

To remove the floppy disk drive, do the following:

1.

Power-off the server, if it is on.

2.

Unplug the server.

3.

Remove the cover (see “Removing the side cover” on page 59).

4.

Disconnect the cables.

5.

Remove the screws from the floppy disk drive cage.
