This meter shows how much the compressor is 

affecting the input signal.

These level meters are for INPUT A and INPUT 

B.
When 

LINK

 is set to 

ON

, level meters for both 

INPUT A and B are shown.

4.  Press the F2 [PARM] button to open a screen with 

specific compressor parameters.

5.  Use the F3 [5] and F4 [b] buttons to select 

(highlight) the following parameters, and use the 

DATA wheel to adjust their values. 

 

When a setting is at its default value, 

i

 appears to 

the right of the value.

 

The options for each parameter are as follows.
THRSHLD

Set the threshold value that causes the 

compressor to activate when exceeded.
Range: -32dB (default) – 0dB

Set the compression ratio.

Options:  1.0:1, 1.1:1, 1.3:1, 1.5:1, 1.7:1, 2.0:1, 

2.5:1, 3.0:1, 3.5:1, 4.0:1, 5.0:1, 6.0:1, 

8.0:1, 16.0:1, inf:1

Set the output level.
Range: 0dB – 32dB

Set the attack time.
Range: 2ms – 200ms (in 2ms steps)

Set the release time.
Range: 10ms – 1000ms (in 10ms steps)

6.  After making the settings, press the HOME 

button to return to the Home Screen.

Set the 

TYPE

 on the 

INPUT DYNAMICS

 screen to 

EXCITER

 to use the exciter.

1.  When the 

INPUT DYNAMICS

 screen is open, 

use the F3 [5] and F4 [b] buttons to select 

(highlight) the “TYPE” item.

2.  Use the DATA wheel to select (highlight) 

EXCITER

3.  Use the F3 [5] and F4 [b] buttons to select 

(highlight) the following parameters, and use the 

DATA wheel to adjust their values. 
FREQ

Set the frequency.

Options:  1.00kHz (default), 1.07kHz, 1.15kHz, 

1.23kHz, 1.32kHz, 1.41kHz, 1.52kHz, 

1.62kHz, 1.74kHz, 1.87kHz, 2.00kHz, 

2.14kHz, 2.30kHz, 2.46kHz, 2.64kHz, 

2.83kHz, 3.03kHz, 3.25kHz, 3.48kHz, 

3.73kHz, 4.00kHz

Set the amount of the effect. 
Range: 0 – 100 (default: 0)

4.  After making the settings, press the HOME 

button to return to the Home Screen.
