DNS commands
Domain Name System (DNS) commands allow you flexibility in setting up how the 5100/6100 
VDR interacts with your local or remote DNS server. You can configure a primary and secondary 
DNS server and set the amount of time that the 5100/6100 VDR waits for a response for the 
DNS server. You can also view your settings and changes.
Note. When you configure the loopback interface and the DNS settings, you must save 
all changes and reset the 5100/6100 VDR for changes to take effect. 
Figure 4-1 shows a remote DNS server at IP address 209.119.23.6 and a local DNS server at IP 
address 10.10.10.4. You can configure one as the primary and one as the secondary DNS host.

Setting a primary DNS server
You can set a primary DNS server by issuing the set dns client primary_server command.
Syntax: set dns client primary_server <IP address>
Argument:
IP address in standard notation; specifies a primary server (public or private) 
Example:
