Electrical Connections
A qualified electrician must
complete all electrical connections. All
adjustments or repairs must be done with

The motor for the JDP-20EVS/230 is rated at
2HP, 3PH 230V only. The machine can also be
run on 1-Phase power by hooking up the
ground, L1 and L2 wires, as explained below.

The JDP-20EVS Drill Press is not supplied with
a power cord. To connect power, you may either
install a power cord with a UL/CSA listed plug,
or hard wire the machine directly to a service

about 3 to 4 inches of the lead wires are
