To select the manual test:  

Open the TEST MENU. 
The last used setup appears on the screen.  

Select the ACCESS field. 

Select the access type, eg. ISDN PRIMARY or BASIC or 
POTS 

Select the ACT AS field. 

Select the instrument mode, eg. NT-U. 

The lower section of the screen shows the network 
configuration in use. The yellow LED that corresponds to 
the selected mode goes on. The available instrument 
modes are shown in Table 2-1. 

Select MANUAL TESTS. 
The following screen appears: 

 

Choose the test you want to perform. 

Once configured all the parameters regarding the test 
chosen, select °Use this setup for testing°.
