3.8. IP Generate Traffic 
Through the test IP GENERATE TRAFFIC, you can simulate a real IP traffic 
condition. This allows to carry out a more exhaustive test toward the network, instead 
the simple IP PING. 
The equipment performs a data transfer between hosts by simulating the 
functionalities of both. This consent to carry out a test using two devices or one 
device and a standard TFTP server.   
Among the test results provided, a statistic of the throughput reached during the 
transfer is displayed. Such statistic is only indicative and it can’t represent the 
absolute maximum value available on the network.
