Note: Up to 1000 continuous meetings may be scheduled per
MeetingPlace system. They can only be scheduled by a user
with system manager access via Meetingtime. Continuous
meetings cannot be scheduled using the telephone interface.
Scheduling Immediate Meetings
Someone may want to schedule a meeting to start right away—an immediate
meeting. Immediate meetings can be scheduled either through the telephone
interface, MeetingPlace Web, or using the MeetingTime Schedule tab.
Immediate meetings are scheduled using the scheduler’s profile settings.
When reservationless meetings is turned on, if a meeting ID is not selected
and a user clicks the Immediate Meeting button on the MeetingPlace Web
home page, the system initiates a reservationless meeting with the user’s
profile number.
Scheduling and Hosting Lecture-style Meetings
With the Question and Answer feature in MeetingPlace, you can set up
lecture-style meetings that have only one (or more) main speakers.  All other
participants in the meeting have listen-only privileges and must request to
speak by pressing #71 on their telephone.

To specify how you want listen-only participants to attend the meeting,
set the Lecture Meeting Attend Settings parameter to one of the
following:
Admit as listeners—Places participants directly into the meeting as
listeners.
Start callers in waiting room—Places participants in the waiting room
where they listen to on-hold music until the meeting is called to order.
Start mtg with floor open—Places participants directly into the meeting
where they can talk with each other until the meeting is called to order.
Once the meeting is called to order, participants no longer have speaking
ability.
