Automated Updates
CAD enables your system administrator to update all instances of Supervisor Desktop

Every time you start Supervisor Desktop, it checks to see if there is an updated build
available, or if there was a system configuration change that requires a Windows

NOTE: For automated updates to function correctly, Internet Explorer
must be configured so that it checks for newer versions of stored
pages. In Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options and
select the General tab. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click
Settings and ensure that the “Every visit to the page” option is
selected.

When this happens, you will see a dialog box notifying you that your copy of Supervisor
Desktop will be updated. (See

Click OK and then follow the instructions in the series of dialog boxes that follows.
When the update is finished, you will see a final dialog box telling you that your update
is complete. (See

log in as usual.
