  Documentation Updates
Note
Do not interrupt power to the appliance for any reason (even to troubleshoot an upgrade issue) 
until at least 20 minutes have passed since you rebooted. If you have a virtual appliance, do not 
use the hypervisor or host OS tools to reset, cycle, or power off the virtual machine. 
Step 4
After about 10 minutes, access the appliance again and log in.

If you use a local updater server, your default does not change. 
Reallocate Disk Space 
After upgrade, make the following change on the Management Appliance > System Administration > 
Disk Management
 page: 
For the Miscellaneous quota, allocate at least twice the amount of the current disk usage displayed 
for Miscellaneous files. 
Until you make any required disk space changes, you will not be able to load configuration files that you 
save from the appliance.

Communication Protocol 
SSL v3 is not secure and you should not use it. 
Beginning with AsyncOS 9.1.2 for Cisco Content Security Management appliances, you can choose 
the communication protocol to be used for each of the following:
Updater server
End-user access to the spam quarantine
Web-based administrative interface to the appliance 
LDAPS 
If you are upgrading, protocol changes are not made automatically.
