reference-point r6 response retransmits
To specify the number of times the BWG attempts to re-send R6 messages when it does not receive a 
response from the BS, use the reference-point r6 response retransmits command in base station 
configuration submode. Use the no form of the command to disable this feature.
reference-point r6 response retransmits retransmit value
no reference-point r6 response retransmits

The action taken on the maximum retries being reached depends on the timer that expired.

The following example illustrates the default behavior for the reference-point r6 response retransmits 
command:
Router(bs-config)#reference-point r6 response retransmits 5
retransmit value
Specifies the number of times the AGW attempts to resend R6 messages after 
no response from the BS. The default value is 5.
