reference-point r6 response timeout
To configure the amount of time the BWG waits for a response from the BS after a request has been sent, 
use the reference-point r6 response timeout command in base station configuration submode. Use the 
no form of the command to reset the timeout value to its default value of 5 seconds.

[no] reference-point r6 response timeout timeout value

Usage Guidelines
If a response is not received within the configured interval, the BWG will retransmit the message until 
the maximum number of retries configured is reached.
Examples
The following example illustrates that the BWG waits for a response from the BS for 10 seconds:
router (config) #reference-point r6 response timeout 10
timeout value
Specifies the amount of time the BWG waits for a response from the BS after 
a request has been sent. The value is measured in seconds. The default value 
is 5 seconds.
