R “Battery dead” may be displayed when there is radio interference or the key

detector is out of range of the handset.

Note:
R We recommend you check the battery once a month and replace the battery

regularly so that you can use the key detector anytime.

R After installing the replacement battery, the key detector emits a registration

tone for 30 seconds. Wait until the tone stops. You do not need to register the
key detector to the unit again.
