If a speed dial button has already been 
assigned, “Q” is displayed next to the button in 
step 2.

Press the desired speed dial button.

Lift the corded handset.

In step 1, if no phone number is stored to the 
speed dial button, you can assign a number by 
pressing n and continue from step 1, 
“Assigning a phonebook entry to a speed dial 
button”, page 19.

Index card
Use the index card to record the names/phone 
numbers stored to the speed dial buttons.

You can copy phonebook entries:
– between the base unit and handset

– between 2 handsets

*1 Panasonic compatible handset

Find the desired entry (page 18). i 8

Enter the handset number you wish to send 
the phonebook entry to.

When an entry has been copied, 
“Completed” is displayed.

To continue copying another entry:
