Remove Original Kick Panel
• Remove threshold plate by prying upward along bottom edge.
• Pull kick panel away from bulkhead to release mounting clips.
• Remove the kick panels from the vehicle
• Pull kick panel away from bulkhead to release mounting clips.
• Remove the kick panels from the vehicle
NOTE: Always check the fit of the Q-Forms into the vehicle before any cutting or modifications are done.
Preparing the Q-Forms for Speaker Installation
• Cut the speaker holes into the Q-Forms before installing them into the vehicle.
• Install the speakers into the Q-Forms after they have been installed into the vehicle.
• Install speaker wiring and crossover network as per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Using a hole saw of correct size, position pilot drill on dimple at center of speaker mounting surface.
A die grinder or keyhole saw may also be used.
• Lay the supplied polyfill in and around the Q-forms cavity behind the speakers.
• Cut speaker mounting holes taking care as saw exits rear of panel.
• Secure speakers into locations by driving screws through speaker bezel and into mounting surface.
• Install the speakers into the Q-Forms after they have been installed into the vehicle.
• Install speaker wiring and crossover network as per manufacturer’s instructions.
• Using a hole saw of correct size, position pilot drill on dimple at center of speaker mounting surface.

Be careful to center speakers in mounting surface to allow clearance for grill shell.
• Install tweeters as per manufacturer’s instructions.
Install New Q-Forms Kick Panels (Always predrill all mounting screw locations)

• Slide the Q-Forms kick panels into place.
• While securely holding panel into place, mark and pre-drill the two mounting locations. One behind the hood

release lever and one at the upper rear of the Q-Form.
• Secure the front location behind the hood release's resting position with supplied 1" Truss head screw.
• Secure the upper rear location with supplied 1-1/2" white nylon spacer and 2" screw.
• Reinstall factory threshold plate.
• Install speakers. Place the rubber "U" channel on the edge of the painted grill and press into the grill recess.
• Secure the upper rear location with supplied 1-1/2" white nylon spacer and 2" screw.
• Reinstall factory threshold plate.
• Install speakers. Place the rubber "U" channel on the edge of the painted grill and press into the grill recess.
Passenger's Side
• Slide the Q-Form kick panel into place.
• While securely holding panel in place, mark and pre-drill two mounting locations, one on upper front edge of

• Secure the upper front location with the supplied 1" screw.
• Secure the lower edge, below the speaker locations, with the supplied 2" screw.
• Reinstall factory threshold plate.
• Install speakers. Place the rubber "U" channel on the edge of the painted grill and
press into the grill recess.

• Reinstall factory threshold plate.
• Install speakers. Place the rubber "U" channel on the edge of the painted grill and
press into the grill recess.
