Exporting an EPUB file opens the Digital Editions Export Options

graph, character, and object styles
are converted to CSS classes, so you
can easily format the XHTML content
using cascading style sheets.
EPUB
You can also export your file to the
EPUB format, suitable for eBook
readers such as Adobe Digital Edi-
tions or iBooks on the iPhone or
iPad. To do this, choose File > Export
For > EPUB. The Digital Editions
Export Options dialog box lets you
choose whether to base the EPUB file
on XHTML or DTBook (an XML-based
format from the Daisy Consortium
that can help make content available
for visually impaired people).
