The default is Off. The LED display will show ‘A’ during standby to indicate
the ‘Announce only’ mode is on.

9.1.6 Change message alert

When Audible Message Alert is on, the base beeps once every 10 seconds when
new messages have been received.

1)   Pressing “Menu” button during announce only setting mode. A beep is heard
to validate the setting and enter message alert setting.“AL” will be displayed on
the LED, and it will announce “message alert is on or off” according to the current
setting, and “On” or “OF” should display for 1 second on the 7-segment.

2)  Press “Previous” or “Next” button to switch the message alert on or off, the 7-

segment LED will display “On or OF” with the voice prompt “ On or off”.

3)  During the message alert setting mode, press the “Menu” button to confirm the

setting and enter the base ringer setting mode.

4)  During the message alert setting mode, Press “Stop” button to exit menu

setting mode. A beep can be heard to validate the setting.

5)  The default is Off

9.1.7 Set base ringer

1)   Press “Menu” button during message alert setting mode. A beep is heard to
validate the setting and enter base ringer setting mode. “br” will be displayed on
the 7-segment LED with the announcement  “base ringer is on/off”, and  “On” or
“OF” should display for 1 second on the 7-segment.
