• The yellow LEDs (12) go out, the power supply for both hard discs is switched off.

As already described in Chapter 7, you should wait for at least another 15-20
seconds for the magnetic disc of the hard disc to come to rest.
Only now must the hard discs be moved or unplugged again.

• To return to the main menu, push any key briefly.
• Now you may copy another hard disc or start a different process, e.g. comparison of the data

of the two hard discs; see next section.

Here you can verify, for example, after copying whether both hard discs hold the same data.
However, it is also possible to, e.g., compare the two hard discs of a RAID1 (where the data
is mirrored).
• Use the buttons “UP” (5) or “DOWN” (6) to select the menu item “2.Compare”.

• Press the “OK” button (7) to start comparison.



Further operation and the displayed information corresponds to that of the copy
process (see Chapter 8. a).

This is a combination of copying (Chapter 8. a) and subsequent comparison of the data on both
hard discs (see Chapter 8. b).
• Use the buttons “UP” (5) or “DOWN” (6) to select the menu item “3.Copy+Compare”.

• Press the “OK” button (7) to start the selected function.
